Galapagos Biotech Ltd, an Alfasigma company, Multidisciplinary Team of the Year recognises those who can demonstrate added value by their contribution. The judging panel will want to see actual multidisciplinary healthcare working and actual examples of it in practice as well as an outline of what lessons have been learnt from its implementation.
Treatment of patients is, in most cases, a combined effort of several individuals and it is recognised that the outcome of a procedure is optimal when the professionals do indeed work together as a team.
