Prostate Cancer: Early detection Strategies and Survivorship

Prostate cancer now represents the second leading cause of male cancer death globally, and its incidence in Ireland is expected to double over the next 20 years.

With no national policy in place, no strategy for early detection and no national data on treatment or outcomes, Ireland lacks much of the infrastructure to manage prostate cancer now, and is certainly ill-prepare.
