Ireland’s highly regarded Reptrak® Study ranks Mater Private Network as #6 most reputable company in Ireland and one of the most highly regarded organisations in the country.

Mater Private Network has been ranked as one of Ireland’s most highly regarded organisations in the latest Ireland RepTrak annual Top 100 survey of reputational standing. Taking sixth place overall, the results mark the Hospital Network’s inaugural inclusion in the RepTrak survey.

Irish consumers awarded Mater Private Network an overall score of 82.1 out of 100, representing an ‘excellent’ reputation result and identifying it as one of the most trusted and respected organisations by the Irish public.  Survey respondents particularly referenced Mater Private’s quality of service and care to patients, community relations, and ethical standards. Respondents also acknowledged the ongoing support provided to the HSE during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results reflect the importance consumers place on the societal contribution of the hospital.

The twelfth annual Ireland RepTrak® 2021 study, the largest and longest running study of reputation in Ireland, is based on the perceptions of over 6,500 members of the public. The study measures the level of trust, respect, admiration and esteem the public has for 100 organisations in Ireland, along with close to 100 other reputation and brand indicators.

Commenting on the announcement, Group Chief Executive at Mater Private Network, John Hurley said:

“I am delighted to see the hard work and dedication of Mater Private Network staff being recognised in today’s consumer survey and am immensely proud of everyone who contributed to us being recognised as one of the most reputable organisations in Ireland.

“The ranking is a testament to the dedication, professionalism and respectful nature of all our staff, within the Mater Private Network who strive to provide best-in-class healthcare across Ireland. It is fitting that they have received this recognition in a year in which all of us have relied on the service and commitment of healthcare staff to remain safe. While deeply humbled by and hugely proud of these results, we also recognise there is more we can do to improve further; we reaffirm our commitment to listening to, and acting on, feedback from all of our stakeholders, consumers and patients.”
