Dr Israel Carmona joins Beacon CARE Fertility team
Beacon CARE Fertility has appointed Dr Israel Carmona as a Consultant, as it continues to expand its clinic team to meet increasing demand. Dr Carmona brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having worked in infertility for over 11 years, with experience in Mexico, the USA, Spain and now Ireland.
His interests are in the field of PCOS, recurrent miscarriage and implantation failure.
Dr Carmona’s sub-speciality training in Human Reproduction was carried out with the team that achieved the first IVF pregnancy in Mexico and he reinforced his knowledge with a fellowship in Texas, USA. In Spain he completed a Master’s Degree at the European Gynaecology Endoscopy School in Valencia and is a Professor of Infertility in Spain. Currently, he is doing a PhD in PCOS at the Catholic University of Murcia, Spain.
He is a Member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), both leading authorities in human reproduction. Dr Carmona is also an executive member of the Irish Fertility Society.
