The Colorectal Robotic Surgical Team at Beacon Hospital is led by Mr. Diarmuid Ó Ríordáin, who became the first accredited surgeon in robotic colorectal surgery in Ireland in 2017, and works in partnership with Mr Adnan Hafeez, Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and Head of Quality Assurance. In addition Professor Neary has more recently become one of now only three accredited robotic colorectal surgeons in Ireland.
