RCSI Study Links Social Media Use, Sexting and Body Dissatisfaction to Poor Mental Health in Irish Teenagers

A major RCSI study surveying more than 4,000 Irish teenagers has found that heavy social media use, body dissatisfaction and engagement in sexting behaviours are strongly associated with poorer mental health and higher risk of self-harm, particularly among girls.
