Dublin, 29th May 2026:  At Bloom 2026, Johnson & Johnson (J&J) collaborated with Myeloma Ireland (MI) as lead sponsor of the ‘Rooted in Resilience’ garden. The gold medal awarded garden was unveiled by representatives of Myeloma Ireland, Johnson & Johnson and Dearbhla Mescal, who lives with multiple myeloma, in the Phoenix Park in Dublin.

The ‘Rooted in Resilience’ garden was inspired by the emotional and physical journey experienced by over 2,000 Irish people living with multiple myeloma, a rare and incurable blood cancer.[i] The garden was designed to incorporate a variety of contrasting spaces, reflecting diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Each element speaks to the resilience, hope, and strength that defines the multiple myeloma community.

Myeloma Ireland is the only charitable organisation in Ireland working to empower people affected by multiple myeloma and related conditions to live full lives. Through partnerships with Myeloma Ireland, J&J is proud to help raise awareness and strengthen community support.
