Blackrock Health Galway Clinic opens its second cardiac catheterisation laboratory

Blackrock Health Galway Clinic officially opened its second cardiac catheterisation laboratory marking a significant advancement in cardiovascular care in Connaught.  This new cath lab represents an investment of €6 million which was part of the €500 million investment announced by the Blackrock Health group in 2024.

This new cath lab provides vital additional capacity for diagnosing and treating routine and complex cardiac cases and is the first private hospital in Connaught to operate two cath labs.
