Fresenius Kabi Innovation in Aseptic Compounding – Finalists
Fresenius Kabi Innovation in Aseptic Compounding is open to qualified, trained pharmacists and technicians engaged in the preparation of injectable and other sterile products for individual patient use. The judges looked for individuals within a pharmacy department or a pharmacy team who can best demonstrate innovation in safety and quality within their department.
This could be through SOPs, cost-saving projects, submitted posters, clinical trials medication, interaction with other departments, identification and fulfilment of training needs or others. The project/ process should show measurable results of having improved the service that they provide to the pharmacy department or their patients.
The Finalists are:
- University Hospital Waterford Aseptic Services Team
- Pharmacy Aseptic Compounding Unit Team at St James’s Hospital
- Department of Pharmacy, Aseptic Compounding Unit at University Hospital Limerick
