UK Trade Commissioner in Dublin to meet Uniphar Medtech at Citywest HQ

Mr Barton’s visit to the company headquarters at Citywest was the first engagement as part of a three day visit to Ireland this week.

The UK Trade Commissioner, Chris Barton, was in Dublin this week on a three-day visit to promote new trade and business opportunities between UK and Irish businesses.

Mr Barton’s first stop was at Citywest to meet with Uniphar Medtech and its MD, Emmet Browne.

Mr Browne told Commissioner Barton that Uniphar Medtech is ideally placed to link innovative UK companies looking to expand rapidly with European partners.

Mr Browne said “Uniphar Medtech currently partners with seven of the world’s top 10 Medtech companies which leaves us ideally positioned to accelerate innovative emerging UK products in EU and other markets.”

Uniphar Medtech, which is part of Uniphar Group plc, said today it continues to grow its business in Ireland, the UK and across the EU and recently opened its first Medtech facility in the US.
