Bon Secours Hospital Cork annual GP Study Day to hear about plans for the hospital’s €77 million expansion
A record 337 GPs and Consultants attended the Bon Secours Hospital Cork annual GP Study Day in Clayton Silver Springs to hear about plans for the hospital’s €77 million expansion, due to open in July 2019.
The Bon Secours GP Study Day is one of the biggest of its kind in Ireland, with the event providing an opportunity for Bon Secours’ Consultants to update the GP community on the latest approaches and treatment options for patients across a wide range of specialties.
Featuring several sessions and interactive discussions over the day, the event was also marked by Hospital Manager Harry Canning’s briefing for attendees on the hospital’s €77 million expansion which includes the development of a state-of-the-art Radiotherapy Department in partnership with UPMC. In addition to the radiotherapy development, the expansion will provide 81 private rooms, with a new infusion department, 4 operating theatres and a 10-bed ICU.
