Hospital Professional Awards Finalists Revealed

HPN has announced the shortlist for its annual awards, the Hospital Professional Awards 2017, which recognise and reward those who have contributed most towards the delivery of safe and high quality care to patients and to the continuous improvement of HSE services.

The 2017 Hospital Professional Awards have witnessed unprecedented growth, surpassing previous years success with over 120 submissions resulting in a shortlist of over 50 finalists.

The core objectives of the Hospital Professional Awards lie in encouraging and sharing new ideas and innovation, promoting leadership, teamwork and excellence in health throughout the Secondary Care sector in Ireland.

The Hospital Professional Awards offer a unique platform to bring Ireland’s leading Consultants, Pharmacists, Clinical Specialists, Researchers, Academics and their teams together in showcasing their hard work and dedication to best practice.

Every aspect of the work carried out by Ireland’s hospital professionals has an impact on patient care. All examples of innovation can often be the most effective in changing the way a team, individual, and their hospital, works.

With 50 finalists, the short listing process was no easy feat as the standard of entries this year was extremely high. Everyone who entered must be commended.
The Winners of the Hospital Professional Awards will be chosen by an esteemed judging panel for their evidence-based research and work in the enhancement of a field and/or therapeutic area.
They will be announced on Saturday, September 16th in the Clayton Hotel Burlington, Dublin, where the key individuals and clinical teams of the hospital sector will be in attendance for what is an established key highlight in the hospital sector calendar.
